Lady Rebels Stop Panthers

Adri Jusczak scored a game high 28 points Thursday night at the MLWR Rebels beat the South Ridge Panthers Thursday night by a score of 68-55 at Moose Lake High School.

Jusczak scored 13 first half points as the Rebels built up a 31-15 lead at halftime. The Panthers who struggled from the field only scored 5 baskets from the field in the first half.

Jusczak continued to led the Rebels in the second half as she added 15 second half points to her totals, and she also finished 9-11 from the free throw line.

The Panthers who struggled in the first half scored 40 points in the second half to close the margin but it wasn’t enough as the Rebels picked up the victory. Mikayla Olesiak finished with 23 points to lead South Ridge, Krystal Karppinen ended with 12 points and Ryanna Anvid added 10 points in the loss.

MLWR moves to 4-2 on the season while the Panthers suffered their first loss of the season and the fall to 4-1 on the year.
