Johnson’s Range Leads Barnum

Barnum’s Cheyanne Johnson had herself a career night, hitting a school record 11 three pointers in their 71-34 victory over the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels.

The Bombers held a slight 27-19 lead at the half, but burst out in the second half, outscoring the Rebels 44-15 to secure the dominating Polar League victory.

Johnson led the Bombers with 33 points. She was followed by Emily Miletich who tallied 22 points, Bailey Wheeler who scored 11 points, and Jaelyn Bushey who topped it off with 5 points.

For the Rebels, Adri Jusczak scored 10, Lauren Ross and Mogran Prachar tallied 6 a pierce, Libbie Ring and Erika Kosloski each had 4, and Jenna Ramberg and Hannah Walker topped it off with 2 each.

The Bombers imrpove to 3-1 on the season and will have a tough matchup against Mountain Iron-Buhl (5-0) on Saturday December 13th with tipoff coming at 3:30 pm. The Rebels drop to 3-1 on the season and will look to bounce back against Mora (2-0) on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:30 pm.
