Princeton defeats Hawks

The Princeton Tigers picked up their second win of the weekend Saturday as the Tigers defeated the Hermantown Hawks by a score of 70-41at Hermantown High School. The Tigers coming off a win Friday night over Duluth East by a score of 60-52.

Princeton go off to a fast start Saturday as they opened up a 44-25 lead at halftime and out scored the Hawks 26-16 in the second half to secure the win.

Princeton’s Taylor Laabs led all scorers with 25 points on the afternoon including 4 three-pointers.

The Hawks had two players scoring in double figures as Shania Bolen hit for 15 points including one long range bomb and it was Jordyn Thomas finishing with 13 and she added 2 three-pointers on the afternoon.
