Duluth Huskies Announce 2015 Schedule

(DULUTH, MN) The Duluth Huskies today announced the release of the schedule for the upcoming 2015 season.

The schedule is highlighted by its 36 game home schedule being played on new artificial turf with a new scoreboard, message center, and entertainment plazas. The backstop net has been replaced as has the stadium lights. Also new for 2015, the stadium seats will be re-painted and the reserved seats will now feature 23” wide seating versus the 18” seats in previous years.

The Huskies regular season begins with its 2015 “Greatest Show on Turf” campaign with a bang on Wednesday, May 27th with a single game versus the 2014 first half champion Willmar Stingers and Fireworks extravaganza following the game! The team will then have a two game road trip before returning to the Wade for a 4 game home stand with the Waterloo Bucks and the Thunder Bay Border Cats.

The Huskies regular season will end on Sunday August 9th. The 2015 NWL Playoffs will begin the following day with a pair of best-of-three divisional series pitting the first-half champion against the second-half champion in each division. The winners will advance to the best-of-three NWL Championship Series that will open on Thursday, August 13th.

The Northwoods League will also feature its annual All Star Game on Tuesday, July 21st in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and on August 4th, the Major League Dreams Showcase will take place at Warner Park, in Madison, for its third year on August 4, 2015.
