The Esko Eskomos improved to 2-0 on the young season, beating Moose Lake-Willow River 67-55.

The Eskomos got out to the 38-32 lead at half and held onto it, outscoring the Rebels 29-23 in the 2nd half to ensure the victory.

Nate Johnson was the leading scorer on the night, scoring 23 points for the Eskomos, including 5 from three point land. Jaxson Turner scored 16 in the win, Adam Trapp pitched in 8, Elijah Mattinen added 6, Derek Pantsar scored 5, Alex Walther added 3, and Aaron Olson, Trenton Menor, and Matt Bolgrean all scored 2 points in the win.

For the Rebels, Rex Janke scored a team high 21 points. Charlie Adamczak followed with 12 points, Brad Fossum scored 9, Isaac Riihiluoma added 7, Ikki Kinashitu scored 6, and Alex Tackett topped it off with 3.

The Eskomos are now 2-0 on the year and will look for another victory on December 4th when they take on the Hermantown Hawks. The Rebels fall to 0-1 and will have their home opener on December 2nd against Rush City.
