Trapp Signs with SDSU

Esko’s senior volleyball standout Molly Trapp has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at South Dakota State beginning next fall for the Jackrabbits. Molly who has been a key member for the Eskomos for several seasons will now take her talents to South Dakota State University.

Not only playing volleyball for Esko, Molly also played volleyball for Minnesota North 18 National Junior Olympic volleyball team under Coach Christyn May, where they finished 5th at the Asics Junior National Championship in Chicago and 11th place at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in Minneapolis.

Molly was the Polar League’s player of the year for 2014, was named the offensive player of the year and has been part of an Esko Team that earned all-academic honors with a team grade point average of 3.78.
Molly will return to the Esko basketball team this winter after focusing on volleyball this past year. Molly will look to help the Jackrabbits next fall improve on a 6-27 record this season.
