Carlton Advances To Section Finals Again

The Carlton Bulldogs advanced to the Section Finals last night for the third consecutive year by defeating the Hill City Hornets, 3 matches to 1. The Bulldogs took the first match, 25-19, dropped the second match 27-25, and grabbed the 3rd and 4th matches, 25-15 and 27-25.

The Bulldogs continued to have a balanced attack, as they have throughout the playoffs, with Grace Macor powering down 19 kills, Macy Belich racking up 18 kills, and Jessica Stanslaski pitching in 13 kills. Setters Hannah Benson and Brianna Walton pitched in nice efforts, recording 19 and 15 set assists respectively.

The Carlton Bulldogs will look to defend their Section 7A title on Saturday, November 1st at 4:00 PM when they matchup with the South Ridge Panthers (25-3). The Bulldogs toppled the Panthers earlier in the season, 3 matches to none.
