The Barnum Bombers closed out their 2014 regular season with a 24-8 victory in Grand Marais Wednesday night. The Bombers who were seeking to pick up their second consecutive victory and move up in the sectional QRF standings.

The Bombers who have struggled this season after playing for the section 7A championship a season ago, have faced many struggles this fall with injuries to numerous players as well as replacing a offensive line from a year ago.

The win has the Bombers finishing the season 3-5 overall, and the Bombers have won 3 of their last 4 contests. Barnum will open the section 7A playoffs Tuesday night when they travel to Blackduck to take on the Drakes in the opening round of the section 7A playoffs, the winner of that contest will face the top seed in section 7A Braham next Saturday.
