After coming off a big win over their rivals, the Duluth East Greyhounds fell in their season finale to the Buffalo Bison 31-6.

Duluth took the lead early, getting the first points up on the board in the 1st quarter when Andy Kimball connected with Kenyatta Mooers from 3 yards out to put them up 6-0. From there it was all Buffalo, as they answered right back with a Dylan Rohlin 3 yard scamper, giving Buffalo a 7-6 lead.

Wyatt Brings scored in the 2nd quarter from 6 yards out to increase the lead to 14-6, and James McNamara returned an interception 38 yards to put the halftime score at 21-6.

In the 3rd quarter, Buffalo went up 28-6 after Jonathan Senger found himself in the end zone after a 51 yard run. Buffalo capped off their scoring on the night when Jared Alexander hit a 43 yard field goal, giving Buffalo the 31-6 win.

Duluth East drops to 1-7 on the season and will be the 6th seed in the playoffs. They will square off against St. Francis, who beat East 55-0 in the first game of the season.
