The Carlton Bulldogs needed to get a win over the Barnum Bombers to secure a Polar League championship, and they did just that, beating Barnum in 3 consecutive matches, 25-9, 25-6, and 25-15.

In the win, Macy Belich and Jessica Stanslaski both tallied 10 kills, while Grace Macor and Amando Groth notched 6 a piece. Hannah Benson recorded 14 set assists and teammate Brianna Walton added 10 set assists.

The victory gave Carlton an 11-0 record against fellow Polar League conference teams. Carlton had an impressive 33-1 match record over Polar League teams, with their only match loss coming to the Esko Eskomos, which secured them the Polar League conference championship in dominant fashion.

The Bulldogs overall improve to 24-5 and will look to defend their Section 7A championship this year as one of the top seeded teams. They will play at home on October 20th at 7:00 PM against an opponent to be determined. The Bombers drop to 1-18 on the season and will be traveling for their first playoff game.
