The Duluth East Greyhounds girls’ soccer team picked up their second consecutive victory Thursday night with a 6-0 shut-out victory over cross town rival Duluth Denfeld.
The Hounds started fast as Emma Spooner scored the first of her two goal at the 9 minute mark of the first half, she scored nine minutes later to make it 2-0 and the Greyhounds made it 3-0 when Kari Rollo scored at the 36 minute mark.
The hounds continued to roll in the second half as the tallied three more goals, as Krista Mielke, Anna Rauzi, and Jada Olson all scored in the second half to make it a six goal margin of victory.

Roni Rudolph was with winning goal keeper as she faced only one shot in the victory, Rachel Carla and Kristen Kelley combined for 7 saves for the Denfeld Hunters in the loss.

The Greyhounds who picked up their second won improve to 2-7-1 overall and they will host Apple Valley Saturday afternoon. The Hunters fall to 3-4-1 and they host Duluth Marshal Saturday at Public Schools Stadium.
