Hawks beat Hunters

HERMANTOWN, Minn— The Hawks of Hermantown defeated the Duluth Denfeld Hunters 3-0 last night at home. The Hawks won with scores of 28-26, 25-18, and 25-15.

Sophomore Setter Jordyn Thomas had 29 set assists to lead the Hawks to the win. Senior Paige Tomlin led the Hawks with 12 kills, followed by Junior Hailey Menzel with 11 kills and 5 dives. Senior Jillayne Gilbert also added 6 kills for Hermantown.

The Hawks will take on Superior on Monday, and the Hunters will travel to Grand Rapids on Tuesday. Game times are 7 pm.
