Esko beats Cook County in conference match up

ESKO, Minn—The Eskimos defeated conference rival Cook County last night 3-0 with scores of 25-7, 25-11, and 25-13.

Esko was led offensively by Sophomore Judy Wagemaker with 8 kills, followed by Senior Molly Trapp with 7 kills and 4 blocks. Junior Setter Gianna Jubie ended the night with 21 set assists. Defensively, the Eskimos were let by Junior Karinne Housed with 10 digs, followed by Junior Mary Pelletier with 10 digs and 5 ace serves.

Cook County leaders included Freshman Meredith Sutton with 5 kills and Junior Maddy Roy with 9 digs.

Cook County will be in Hill City tomorrow, and the Eskimos will take on the Cloquet Lumberjacks on Monday at 7:00 pm at home.
