Cloquet tops Hibbing

CLOQUET, Minn— The Cloquet Lumberjacks improve to 9-2 with a win last night over Hibbing 3-0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-13) at home.

The Lumberjacks were led by Junior Kassidy Steen with 13 kills, Senior Alex Oakes added 7 kills, 12 set assists, and 3 ace serves. Senior Sami Westendorf also added 14 set assists and 8 digs .

Defensively Senior Katie Zezeulka and Junior Taylor Leyrer both led the Jacks with 11 digs.

Hibbing will play again on Monday when they will take on the Eveleth-Gilbert at home. Cloquet will be on the road Monday, playing in Esko. Game times are 7 PM.
