MLWR Wins Again

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels won again on Monday and Tuesday night, topping Aitkin in 3 matches to 1 and topping Silver Bay 3 matches to 1.

Against Aitkin, the MLWR Rebels lot the first match 25-15, but winning the last three, 25-23, 25-11, and 25-21.

Against Aitkin, Karina Cisar had 16 kills to lead the way. Lauren Ross was deadly everywhere, stacking up 26 set assists, 6 kills, 4 ace serves, and 12 digs. Adri Jusczak and Scarlett Anderson both notched 5 kills, and Sage Gerard recorded an impressive 5 ace serves.

No stats for the game against Silver Bay were submitted.

With the two wins, MLWR improved to 12-3 and will look to get their 6th straight win when they travel to play the Barnum Bombers (1-10) on September 18th.
