Wysocki leads Jacks Swimmers

The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Girls Swim Team picked up a dual meet victory Thursday afternoon over the Ogilvie Lions at the Herb Drew Pool in Cloquet by a narrow 49-45 margin.

The Lumberjacks took home victories in the 200 Freestyle as Lexus Wysocki finished at 2:13.60 and was the first of her four fists on the day, Wysocki also took first in the 100 Butterfly and was a member of two first place relay teams.

The 200 Freestyle featured Wysocki, Rachel Gorski, and Makayla Suemonien & Faith Carlson. This same foursome also won the 400 freestyle relay.

Rachel Gorski won the 200 Individual Medley, Faith Carlson captured the 100 Freestyle, and Suemonien won the 50 Freestyle. Maija Larva won the 500 Freestyle for the Lumberjacks.

The Lumberjacks were in action Saturday at Duluth Denfeld, and they will have two dual meets this week, on Tuesday against Two Harbors, and on Thursday versus Northeast Range.
