Esko Picks up First Victory

The Esko Eskomos picked up their first win of the season Friday night as the Eskomos stopped the Deer River Warriors by a score of 42-6 at Esko.
The Eskomos started fast Friday night scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter including two touchdown runs, one from Jaxson Turner and one by David Belden. Aaron Olson scored twice with two touchdown receptions from Nick Emanuel.
Jack Kuhlman scored the Eskomos only touchdown in the second half on a 68 yard rushing touchdown, while Deer River scored late in the contest for their only points of the night.
The Eskomos move to 1-2 and they will look to even their record next Friday night when they will host Duluth Marshall in a homecoming game. Deer River drops their first game of the season and will look to get back in the win column against Cook County next Friday night at home.
