Duluth Marshall took down the Proctor Rails on Thursday, topping them by a score of 3-1 in the Conference Matchup.

Hilltoppers Jack Dodd got the scoring off quick when Joey Johnson connected with him for a goal at the 7th minute. Johnson would then score an unassisted goal in the 27th minute to give the Hilltoppers the 2-0 lead going into the half.

Marshall would kick off the second half right where they left off, with Peter Lenz scoring unassisted in the 43rd minute. Proctor would finally get on the scoreboard in the 47th minute when Taylor Ringdahl assisted Chris Wunch to complete the scoring in the game.

Marshall improves to 3-6-2 on the year and will battle Ashland at home on September 15th. Proctor drops to 1-5 on the season and will look to bounce back against Duluth East on September 15th.
