Cook County sweeps Wrenshall

GRAND MARAIS,  Minn—The Cook County Vikings swept the Wrenshall Wrens at home last night 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Cook County was led by Junior Linden Sutton with 7 kills, 12 digs, 4 blocks, and 4 ace serves. Senior Jami Sjogren added 10 digs, and Britta Andress ended with 4 blocks. Maddy Roy had 9 set assists on the night.

Wrenshall drops to 1-4 with the loss. The Wrens will be on the road in Carlton tomorrow where they will take on the undefeated Bulldogs. Game time is 7 PM.

Cook County is currently undefeated with a 4-0 record. They have recorded wins against Silver Bay, Duluth Marshall, Two Harbors and Wrenshall. The Vikings will play at home tomorrow night (September 11) against the Barnum Bombers.
