Lady Rails Open with Victory

The Proctor Rails girls soccer team opened their 2014 season with a 2-1 victory over the Forest Lake Rangers Thursday afternoon in Proctor.

Junior mid-fielder Lexie DeWall scored both Proctor Goals one in the first half and the game winner in the second half of the contest.

Meggan Burud had the lone assist for the Rails and the winning goal keeper was Chiara DeLuca who finished with 12 saves in the victory.

Kassity Swanson scored the lone goal for the Rangers in the loss as the Rangers fall to 1-1 on the season. The Rails start season 1-0 and they will face Hermantown on Tuesday in Proctor.
