Huskies Win but fall from Playoffs

The Duluth Huskies playoff hopes were still alive entering Saturday’s game with St. Cloud, but a Mankato victory in Eau Claire ended the hopes of the Huskies who managed a victory over the Rox by a score of 5-4.
Chris Kelley earned the victory for the Huskies who improve to 20-15 in the second half and 29-42 overall on the season.
Alex Michaels was 3-4 with a run scored Saturday night, and Austin Darby and Austin Christensen each drove in two runs.
The Huskies will close out their 2014 season today at Wade stadium at 1:05 when they will face St. Cloud.
