Esko 7th Grade on to Target Center

Congratulations to the Esko 7th grade boys who will be representing Minnesota at the Pacesetter Great Four State Championship next Saturday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Great Four State Championship features eight teams from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota who qualified at their respective state tournaments. Good luck team!

Esko beat New London Spicer 44-39 in a 4 –OT game to advance to Saturday’s Great Four State tournament at Target Center. Esko will face the two-time defending champion, Bismarck, in the opening game on Saturday.

These boys weren’t the only ones representing Esko at the Pacesetter State tournament- Also winning regional tournaments earlier this spring were the 5th, 6th, 8th boys; and 9th girls teams. In addition, the 7th grade girls and 9th grade boys qualified for the pacesetter MIT tournament.
