Lady Rebels Open Season with Victory

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels opened their softball season Monday in Aitkin and it was the Rebels opening with a 14-3 victory in six innings.

Nikki Grutkowski went 3-3 including a triple and she also scored 3 runs for the Rebels. Morgan Prachar also finished with three hits on the afternoon, she also added 2 stolen bases.

Ally Bodie was the winning pitcher Monday allowing four hits and no earned runs while striking out 4 Gobblers.

Maddie Milczark also pitched in with two hits including a double and she also had 2 stolen bases.

The Rebels start the season 1-0 and they will host Floodwood on Tuesday afternoon in Willow River.
