Superior Wins Packy Paquette Meet

The Superior Spartans boys and girls teams won the Packy Paquette Indoor Meet and the combined team championship.

Superiors Lauren Magnuson won the 55 meter dash, 200 yard dash, placed 2nd in the long jump, and placed 3rd in 4×200 meter relay while taking home the girls MVP. Also placing was Duluth Easts Lucy Robb, Aria Plewa, and Ava Meyer. Robb won the 55 meter hurdles and the 400 meter dash. Plewa placed 1st in the 800 meter run, and Meyer finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash.

For the boys, Superiors Jake Libal placed 1st in the 55 meter dash, 220 yard dash, and 4×200 meter relay while taking home the MVP honors for the boys. Duluth Easts Joe Yernatich, Cory Erickson, and Charlie Bray also placed. Yernatich finished 1st in the shot put, Erickson finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash, Bray finished 3rd in the 1600 meter run.
