The Ogichidaag sunk four quick triples for a 12-2 lead and maintained their edge through most of the fist half. It was a fast-paced game throughout, with both teams sprinting to the bucket. FDL turnovers proved to be the difference maker for Mustangs, who scored 26 first half points off of turnovers. They claimed their first lead with a Josh Goldschmidt fast break dunk, 35-33 at the 7:02 mark. Goldschmidt paced his squad with 22 first half points, leading to a 57-48 lead at the half.
