The Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida  seemed as tad slow as they faced top-seeded Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa from the start Friday afternoon at the Target Center.

The Ogichida seemed tired from their triple overtime win over Canby and could not get themselves pushed into that top gear as the Jaguars knocked off the Ogichida by a score of 76-58.

The Ogichida trailed throughout the contest, less a brief few seconds in the first half when the teams were tied at 12. Leading scorer Davonte Williamson fouled out with just under 7 minutes to play, but still finished with a team-high 18 points.

On the other side of the ball, senior Brian Goodwin led the Jaguars with 25 points on 9-for-24 shooting. Senior teammate Billy Borgerding added 21 and senior James Kuefler popped in 10.

The Ogichida were disadvantaged by size, with their tallest player at 6-3 going up against the likes of 6-7 Borgerding who had 11 rebounds. The Jaguars had twice as many points in the paint as the Ogichida, who will move on to the third-place game.
