Fond du Lac led 36-29 at the half and would lead by as many as 17 points in the second half, but the Lancers showed why they are participating in the State Tournament as well, battling back to outscore the Ogichida 38-31 in the second half and come up with a big block against FDL’s Davonte Williamson at the buzzer to send it into overtime.

The Lancers would get up early in the 1st overtime, but the teams would even up 6-6 to send it into its 2nd overtime period. The 2nd overtime would see much less scoring, with both teams only scoring 2 points each which sent it into a 3rd overtime. In the 3rd overtime, the Ogichida would get up by 6 points with only 1 minute remaining behind Williamson’s scoring and his back to back assists to Jordan Diver. The Lancers pushed back and got the lead down to 3 but wouldn’t be able to cut into it any more as the Ogichida advance to the Class A semifinals with the thrilling 85-82 victory.
